ORCHESTRA AND REGION 18 ORCHESTRA RESULTS
Congrats Orchestra!! The McCallum orchestra had 33 students selected to the region 18 orchestra. We had more than any other school in our region. We had 12 violin players, 5 viola players, 6 cello players, 8 bass players, and a harpist. We did well.

2022 Virtual Talent Show “Proud to be Hispanic. Join the Fiesta!”
Austin ISD is celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month with our 2022 Virtual Talent Show “Proud to be Hispanic. Join the Fiesta!” Please encourage your teachers, staff and families to participate in this open call with prizes of $250 and $500 for Class Performance.

Please help spread the word about upcoming MacTheatre Auditions! Auditions for our fall play, Sophocles' ANTIGONE, will be held after school on Monday, 9/26, in the FABT. Auditions for our winter musical, PIPPIN, will be held after school on Tuesday, 10/4, in the FABT.

Freshman parents, To help with the transition to high school for our Academy freshman, we offer FRESHMAN MEET UP! Our Ambassadors will provide advice, study tips, support and a chance to ask questions about anything school related !
