McCallum High School’s Cinematic Arts is an award winning, four-year, script-to-screen program where students explore the creative and technical aspects of moving images and production.
Classical Guitar
The Classical Guitar Program at McCallum features three annual program concerts, as well as opportunities to perform in the All City Guitar Event, Full ensemble/sight reading competition, as well as UIL solo/ensemble competition and AISD solo/ensemble competitions.
Collaborative Piano
Our Collaborative Piano major was created and aligned to prepare students for further studies at the university level in piano focused on chamber music and accompanying.

The McCallum High School Fine Arts Academy Dance Program offers a rigorous dance curriculum in a public high school setting to prepare students for both professional and academic excellence.
Orchestra
The McCallum Fine Arts Academy Orchestra program was started in 1953 with the opening of the school and has had a history of highly qualified and dynamic orchestra directors.
