  1. Students will complete the McCallum Fine Arts Academy Google Form Application by January 30, 2026,11:59 PM. The application requires the following: 
    • Demographics
    • 4 short answer questions
    • Report Card for Previous Grade Level (from 2024-2025 school year; upload required for NON-AISD students)
    • Report Card for Current Grade Level (end of Fall Semester 2025; upload required for NON-AISD students)
    • Proof of Residence (upload required)
    • Acknowledgements
  2. Teacher Recommendations: Form can be found here.
    • One Teacher Recommendation from an Academic Class
    • One Teacher Recommendation from a Fine Arts Class

*If students are new to Fine Arts Two Teacher Recommendations from Academic Classes will be accepted. 

  • Students should share the link with teachers whom they have asked for a recommendation.  The teacher should be logged in to their school email (either AISD or another school).
  1. Audition Workshops are OPTIONAL (December 6-14, varies by Major). More information will be posted soon.
  2. Auditions are REQUIRED  (January 24-31, varies by Major). More information will be posted soon. 
  3. Parents of all students applying to McCallum Fine Arts Academy must complete priority registration in Enroll Austin by the Enroll Austin Deadline. Once Enroll Austin opens in Spring 2026, you can access Enroll Austin via https://www.austinisd.org/enroll.  Students who do not complete this by the deadline cannot be accepted to McCallum Fine Arts Academy.
    • Required Documents will include valid parent/guardian Drivers License and mortgage statement or lease.
    • Report Cards and Teacher Recommendations not required if provided elsewhere.
  4. Ensure you are receiving Email Correspondence from McCallum Fine Arts Academy. You may complete the McCallum Fine Arts Academy Interest Form to be added to our list to receive information on upcoming McCallum FAA application events and application reminders.
